What's up everyone! I just did a recent youtube post on my channel for a 2000s pop hit by The Script. I taught how to play The Man Who Can't Be Moved. I really like this song and it's one of my favorite pop songs so I decided to give it a try and teach you how to play it. As you'll see and learn, a lot of these songs are not extremely hard to play and they have "patterns" that repeat themselves. It's very important that you take time to learn these "patterns" that you will hear in music all the time. 

In short, you can create music that everyone loves and music that you are passionate about all by ear. You have to learn some foundational principles first, learn the patterns so you can build a song, and the sky is the limit! I'm super excited to be making my first blog post on my website! This one is doing a piano breakdown of a pop song by John Mayer called Shot in the Dark. I will be doing an entire series of piano breakdowns of various songs to show you that if you learn the essentials, you too can do the same with ease. The ease of hearing a song and being able to play it by ear rather quickly. 

On his new album Sob Rock, I must say that is my favorite song! I was able to learn this song within minutes and I want to share with you all, how to play this.
